The Fast and the Furious

I am sure that I am not the only one who is a fan of The Fast and the Furious franchise, but I bet that most people did not know that it a remake of a old Hollywood movie of the same name.

I did not, but I do now as right at this second as I type, I am watching the original 1955 black and white version of said film, staring John Ireland (who was one of the directors), Dorothy Malone and Bruce Carlisle.

In one of my yet to be published book (Never too Late), my heroine is a fan of action movies and can recount the original films to current movies.

With that said, I have always wondered if we are suffering a dearth of ideas in this modern times if all we are doing is rehashing old ideas and formulas.

Just thought that I would put that out there to any interested parties.

Hi, its Adina here. Let me introduce myself to you. I'm a new writer on the block with quite a number of ideas for IR romance. I find inspiration from various source which includes my own personal life experiences as well as from friends and family. Most of my stories have a certain theme, but there are others that I write that I would not class as romance in the true sense of romance, but are still interesting in their content. As soon as I know when I will be publishing the three stories that I have already written I will update it on this blog, letting all potential readers know where they can be found. I will be putting up a short quirky story in a couple of days and asking for comment on it.

India Arie - Heart of the matter + Umbrella

Here I am with thoughts of romance and books that I have in the pipeline on my mind, only to find that there is an India Arie song that reflects the sentiment of what I am currently thinking. How is that for a coincident? Anyway, I thought that I would put my thoughts out there to see if anyone else thinks that there is a dearth of really good romantic songs from the crop of musical artists that are out at the moment.

Right at this moment, I am looking to publish a couple of free stories that I have written, as well as a chargeable one. I also have a lot of stories in the pipeline but that will take time before they are ready for the reading public.
